Kommer du ofta hem från resor och tänker ”Varför i sjutsingen har jag tusen bilder på Eiffeltornet, men jag är inte med på en enda bild själv” eller allmänt känner att du gärna skulle vilja ha mer porträtt tagna av dig själv? Nämligen tipset att släppa ifrån sig kameran och agera modell. Jag är rätt bra på att lämna ifrån mig kameran och be någon annan ta över. Till skillnad från många fotografer som ofta säger ”Jag trivs bäst bakom kameran” så stämmer inte det på mig. Jag vill gärna bli förevigad och ofta. A photo-shoot with a friend- Child portraits

During my Christmas break I hanged with a friend and her child and shot some photos of them. It is so fun when someone agrees to be shot willingly! 😉 When trying you discover how hard it is to get the child happy. When the child is happy you have no focus and when you have focus, the child is crying. A challenge! What do you think about the result? Portraits and a swamp.

Continuing learning portrait photography and especially taking my own, I headed out for a walk to find a spot today. I probably took me an hour to find one, you might think it isn´t that hard, but eventually after heading through a marshland of mud close to home I found myself in the center of some birches. And birches makes great photo background! After shooting probably 200 photos it got dark. In the heat of the moment when shifting space I dropped my self-timer and hade to run around like a crazy person to find it again. Eventually got some nice potential photos for my ongoing project as well, so it was a totally okay shoot. Now back home enjoying Sunday evening with some episodes of Reckless. Selfportrait- the forest

Taking a self portrait is more difficult than you can imagine. I take mine with a self – timer, wireless. The timing is crucial. In this post I want to show some photos I took yesterday. Have been practicing different styles all weekend. Saturday I did the out of focus portraits and Sunday I tried getting full focus and perfect sharpness. I succeed in some and in some not so much. It is hard telling when you are out if you have gotten that perfect shot or not, it isn´t until later when home again your realize that 90% of all photos lack something like focus, sharpness or are to light or dark etc. But it is a challenge that I love. Börjat med föreläsningar om infographics i veckan och passade på att knäppa några bilder på mina vackra klasskamrater Sara, Rime, Besart, Anders och Enrico. Started with lectures on infographics this week and took the opportunity to snap some pictures of my beautiful classmates Sara, Rime, Besart, Anders and Enrico.
